Preserve at Eisenhower
With the first day of Spring it's time to break out the clubs and hit the
driving range.
I am happy to say I am 3 months removed from my shoulder replacement surgery
and well ahead of schedule to be playing golf. Yesterday was my 3rd round
playedthis year. Scott Patton will be kicking off the season April 11th at Algonkian. If you
have not signed up, do so soon.
The following week I will host the outing listed above whose address is:
1576 Generals Highway, Crownsville, MD and phone number 410-222-3400. If you are
not a fan of hitting out of sand traps, this is the course for you. All of
the bunkers have been replaced with either grass bunkers or grass pyramids. However,
avoid landing on one because they are not an easy shot to hit off of. This was a
result of a $5 million renovation that was completed in May of 2021. At
this timethe clubhouse is in the process of being replaced also. The men's green
tees are at 6,151 yards. For us older chaps I would recommend the Gold tees at 5,544
yards and the women's white tees at a fair 4792 yards.
I have lined up 5 tee times starting at 11:36 going off every 12 minutes.
I was able to negotiate their Anne Arundel resident rate of $73 per person *to be paid
at the*course instead*.Sorry no walkers rate on weekends. If you are feeling
lucky for the CTP contests of which there are 5 par 3's, you can either Zelle me $5 or
pay me at the course. Please either have a $5 bill or ones. My Zelle is my cell
phone number 4102187630.
Afterwards, we will enjoy dinner at the voted best in several categories
Lures Bar & Grille at 1397 Generals Highway. When you sign up let me know if you are
in for dinner so I can give them a head count and if you are in for the CTP
contests.
