"The Great ASGA-DC Myrtle Beach Turkey Shoot of 2025” - Nov. 22-29 (Options to Dec 1st)

You’re invited to share a glorious week of golfing the very best and most challenging courses in Myrtle Beach with your golf buds!  We will celebrate the season with an elegant Thanksgiving dinner at Chestnut Hill.  You will have use of all the amenities of The Grand Atlantic Resort including large oceanview condos with rooftop pool, exercise facility, indoor & outdoor pools, internet connection and hot tubs.  We will take advantage of the nearby entertainment, excellent restaurants, discount golf supplies and equipment, etc.
THE DAILY SCHEDULE:

*   Check in >4pm Saturday and settle into your condo. We’ll meet and greet in Sharon’s partyroom (Rm TBD) or meet up with the group at a designated local sports bar for food and drink!
*   Sunday we venture north to Little River and tackle the lovely, wooded River Hills Golf Club. Visit https://riverhillsgolf.com/myrtle-beach-golf/for details.
*   Monday we head back north to test our mettle at the Glen Dornoch Waterway Golf course.  This Donald Ross course has the hardest finishing holes of any of the courses on the strand.  Visit https://www.glendornoch.com<https://www.glendornoch.com/> for course details.
*   Tuesday we golf at the immaculately maintained and newly renovated Kings North course at Myrtle Beach National designed by Arnold Palmer.  Always a pleasure and a challenge. *     Wednesday we play the ever popular, always dry, Grande Dunes Resort Golf course that boasts five holes on the intercoastal waterway and recently renovated traps and greens.  Visit https://www.grandedunesgolf.com/ for details.
* ‎     Turkeyday we head a little south to Pete and P.B. Dye’s Prestwick Country Club, a diabolical, but fair, track of beautifully sculpted holes. Visit https://prestwickcountryclub.com/ for course details.  Later we have coveted reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at Chestnut Hill.
* ‎     Friday we get some true ‘Southern Charm’ (picture moss draped oaks) and tackle Dan Maple’s Heritage Club on Pawleys Island. See https://www.legendsgolf.com/heritage for details. Our round includes a free hot breakfast, lunch off the menu and soda/tea or 2 draft beers.

EXNDED STAY AND PLAY OPTIONS!
* ‎   #2 Sunday we head to the nearby Arrowhead Country Club complex. Bring plenty of balls, as the 27 holes designed by Ray Floyd are quite a challenge, especially the many water obstacles. *   Monday Dec 1st Optional Bonus round for those left standing will be scheduled, but it’s likely to be Jack Nicklaus’s very challenging Long Bay Golf Club on Rt 9. Then we take a stress-free weekday drive the rest of the way home on Monday!

COST:
*   The basic 7-day package price with a guaranteed single bdrm in a 3 bdrm/3 bath condo is $1405.
*   Optional Saturday and Sunday night lodging:$80/nt.
*   Optional Sunday Bonus round at Arrowhead $85.
Add $10pp for married alums. You are always welcome to trip with your old golf buds.
