Hello Fellow Golfers
 ALGONKIAN

 

ON Saturday May 11th,  you are invited to join your ASGA-DC friends for another weekend event of great golf at the Algonkian Regional Golf Course in Sterling,  VA.  
This beautiful course is well built to allow both beginners and experts to enjoy a Spring day in Virginia.  Note: since it is also a somewhat “walkable course”, there is a reduced walking rate for those of you who want to get your steps in.  Afterwards, we will meet at a nearby restaurant which is to be determined.  (I am open to suggestions) .

WHEN:  Saturday, May 11, 2024.

TIME:  Tee-times start at 11:10 AM, for up to 16 fortunate golfers, and will run at 10 minute intervals.


WHERE:  Algonkian Regional  Park,  47001 Fairway Drive, Sterling Va 20165.

COST*:

  *  Riding rate - $79.50

  *  Walking Rate - a few dollars less


*Rate includes closest to pin contests and end-of-year raffle


Range balls $8.00 for small basket, $11.00 for large basket.

The course does not honor golf time book discounts on weekends.
Snack bar offers the usual snack foods including hotdogs, drinks and there is alcohol available.

19th HOLE:  Following the round, dinner/drinks/will be held at a restaurant TBD (any suggestions?)

HOW:  To reserve a spot, send an email to mshammond123@yahoo.com with your handicap/average 18-hole score, if you wish to be paired with someone, and if you will join us for dinner.  Then, once confirmed that there is still a spot for you, don’t forget  to send the payment:!!!!
