Woodlands

This is a relatively new course to our chapter.  Everyone seemed to really
enjoy it the past couple of years.  The fairways are mostly generous even
for my game.  It is one of the two premier courses in Baltimore County's 5
courses.  Lindsey Ervin who also designed the two Queenstown courses was
the golf architect here.  It opened in 1998 and is a scenic journey over
rolling hills and undulating greens with no houses in sight.  Just the
occasional deer.  It is located Southwest of Baltimore City just outside
the beltway.  This facility has two courses, the other being Diamond
Ridge.  The address is 2309 Ridge Road, Windsor Mill, MD 21244.  Make sure
you go to the right first tee.

We have 8 consecutive tee times starting at 12:00 PM.  It is a Par 72
course with white tees at 6122 yards, combo tees at 5824, green tees at
5452 yards and the Women's gold tees at a fair 4762 yards.  We will have
CTP contests for both men and women on each of the 4 Par 3's with no one
winning more than one.  I like to spread the wealth.  Range balls are free,
just get a code from the pro shop or maybe me.  Also there are two practice
greens.  This is not a walkable course.

Depending on the weather we can use a large room to gather afterwards in
the clubhouse or on their back patio like last year and order food from
their gill while we wait for everyone to get in and hand out the money.

For our chapter members the cost will be $71 including the CTP and year-end
raffle only $5 more than last year.  You can Zelle me the money to my phone
#410-218-7630 or thru Venmo to @GEORGE-SALMON-3.  Those preferring to send
a check, our address is 1627 Park Drive, Dundalk, MD 21222.

I need to submit a number to the course by August 25th and pay for it in
full at that time.  So if you don't show up or we can't fill your spot you
will still be responsible for the green fees.  They are drawing a harder
line since other groups have not shown up or had a lot fewer players show
giving them loss of revenue.
