Holiday Party 2017

The ASGA holiday party/wine tasting was the social event of the season.

Marlene Hammond’s beautiful home was filled with just under 50 members who engaged in lively conversation, boisterous caroling, competitive quiz challenges, a visit from Santa…and dancing! But all that activity was minimal in comparison to the wonderful food and wine consumed through-out the evening. Many thanks to all the members who provided food. The buffet was truly abundant and variable. 

And many, many thanks to the wonderful duo Chris ( the sommelier) and his lovely assistant Rachel. We all were enlightened by your vast knowledge of wines. But it is difficult to discern if more of the product rather than knowledge of the produce was consumed. I guess we will just have to reconvene next year to decide.

Jack, you did a marvelous job! If this event is any indication… Look out everybody for the social events of 2018!
