If you would rather play in more comfortable temperatures this is the
outing for you.  Everyone seemed to really enjoy
it the past several years.  The fairways are mostly generous even for my
game.  It is one of the two premier courses
in Baltimore County's 5 courses.  Lindsey Ervin who also designed the two
Queentown courses was the golf architect here.
It opened in 1998 and is a scenic journey over rolling hills and undulating
greens with no houses in sight.  Just the occasional
deer.  It is located southwest of Baltimore City just outside the Baltimore
beltway on the west side.  You won.t need to go thru
any of our tunnels to get there.  This facility has two courses, the other
being Diamond Ridge.  The address is 2309 Ridge
Road, Windsor Mill, MD 21244.  Make sure you go to the right first tee.

We have 7 consecutive tee times starting at 12:00 PM.  It is a Par 72
course with white tees at 6122 yards, combo tees at 5824,
green tees at 5452 yards and women's gold tees at a fair 4762 yards.  We
will have CTP contests for both men and women
on each of the 4 Par 3's with no one winning more than one.  I like to
spread the wealth and give more people a chance to win.
Range balls are free, just get a code from the pro shop or me.  Also there
are two practice greens.  This is not a walkable course.

After the round we will gather at the clubhouse on their back patio.like
last year while we wait for everyone to get in and hand
out the money.  I will try to line up a restaurant to go to on your way
back to the south, but let me know if you are staying for dinner.

I need to submit a number to the course by August 31st and pay for it in
full at that time.   So if you don't show up or we can't fill your
spot you will still be responsible for the green fees.  They are drawing a
harder line since other groups have not shown up or had a lot
fewer players giving them a loss of revenue.
