Algonkian

 

We will be playing at Algonkian Golf Course on Saturday, June 24th.  It is
one of our favorite park-setting courses.  We have tee times starting at 12
Noon.  The cost is $68 which includes green fee, cart fee, small bucket of
balls, CTP fee and year-end raffle contribution.

We will follow golf with dining at The Food Emporium, one of the Great
American Restaurants new additions.  It is located just 10 minutes from the
course.

We have three weeks until the event.  Please reply with your intent to
participate and plans to join us for dinner ASAP.  Please submit payment by
Friday, June 20th.  Final pairings will be submitted to the course on
Saturday, June 21.

I prefer Zelle or CashApp. Checks will be honored.  Below is my contact

Algonkian Golf Course

Algonkian Golf Course is part of the Nova Parks system and is a very
popular golf course in a park setting along the Potomac River.  The course
offers 18 challenging holes, perfect for the serious golfer but forgiving
enough for the occasional player. Golfers will find a long, mature tree
lined front nine with water in play on three holes, paired with a rolling
back nine, dotted with an in-play stream on four holes. Bermuda grass
fairways, which give way to large greens, provide the perfect playing
surface. Golfers will especially enjoy Algonkian’s signature holes on
number 6 – a par 5 (dogleg left), as well as number 16 – a par 3 with a
wide but not particularly deep green.
