Ocean City Recap
The intrepid golfers from ASGA DC battled rain, wind, cart path only, drunk golfers (not us!), and incompetent wait staff but still had a great get away at Ocean City. After a rainy start on Friday at River Run, the weather improved and we enjoyed the beautiful but windy conditions at Lighthouse Sound, a course many of us agreed we would like to play again when the wind is not quite so strong on the front 9. However, several members had some impressive scores despite the wind. The weather conditions improved on Sunday at Man O'War at Glen Riddle but the cart path only walking and links style course managed to fatigue more than a few, but the stalwarts braved on and finished all 18. Thank you to everyone for participating, it was nice to get away and see the ocean, forget politics and bad news and just play some golf. Please let your golf chairs know if this is the type of trip you would like to see again next year or if there are other locations that might make a good weekend get-away. They are starting to put together a tentative calendar for 2021.
Again, thanks for participating, I hope you enjoyed yourselves and will see you out on the course!
Sheila
