Notes regarding COVID-19 and Phase III reopening:
Carts. Lansdowne expects two riders per cart. The carts are new, cleaned, and sanitized. However, they will consider requests for single riders if inventory allows.
Dining. Lansdowne’s Piedmont Pub is open and will allow larger gatherings. We will meet after golf at the pub and assess the situation. First foursomes to finish golfing will stake out an area for our group. Fallback / overflow will be at Bungalow Lakehouse in Sterling.
Golf. I was told the course is in great shape. They have only been open to members (low volume) and operations have been maintaining the course during the pandemic.
To sign-up, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Requests for cart pairings will be first prioritized based on COVID-19 concerns.

Lansdowne’s Robert Trent Jones Jr Course
A classic experience awaits both the accomplished and novice golfer on this 7,063-yard, par-72 course. The key to success on this course is the ability to accurately judge the impact of elevation changes. For example, the par-3 13th hole features a 50-foot drop from tee to green, requiring a carry over a creek that runs across the front of the green, as well as a stone wall that dates back to the 1700s.
The course provides mental challenges with risk-reward holes and a tee-to-green carry over water on the par-3 17th, as well as physical tests with a pair of classic, three-shot par-5s. While friendly, the strategic layout will test the skills of all playing levels, rewarding each with a memorable round.
