Musket Ridge Golf Outing, May 11th
In the words of the course architect:
“Like my ancestor, Robert E. Lee, who marched his army across the property en-route to Antietam 140 years earlier, at Musket Ridge I decided that we needed to do what all good generals do - seize the high ground and work the ridge lines."
Joe Lee - May 10, 2002
Come and play “Musket Ridge” located in Myersville, Maryland, a few miles west of Frederick off Interstate 70. This is an immensely popular course. Cost is $68 for ASGA members and $88 for non-members. Costs covers golf, cart, range balls, closest to pin competitions and entry in the year-end raffle.
Musket Ridge is rated the #6 course in the Middle Atlantic. Spectacular Views, well conditioned course and excellent practice facilities.
We have 8 tee times, starting at 1:00 PM. To give those traveling a distance a chance to get home at a reasonable hour, we will stay at the club and have dinner instead of traveling elsewhere. The staff has promised additional help for our event. For those wishing more, I suggest a stop on Market Street in Frederick which is only a few miles down The National Highway (route 40).
