Top Golf

May 8, 2008

Our Friday Nine and Wine Clinics are a way for ASGA-DC members and guests to socialize and work on their golf swings in a social setting.

In the early years of our chapter, we held the Friday night clinics at a now closed facility that had a nine hole Par-3 course along with a range.

The clinics are now held at TopGolf in Alexandria, where the Nine and Wine name and tradition continues.

Your golf clubs have been out of the closet, been to the range, and played a few ASGA-DC events. You came to last month's clinic and fixed your grip, posture and alignment. Now you realize that you keep hitting the ball in a hook or slice without being able to keep it from happening. Yet sending the golf ball to the left or right, that is, with a hook or slice on purpose, is still a struggle, let alone getting the golf ball to sink over the nearest hill in a straight line.

We have the answer for you! ASGA-DC's May 9th Friday Night Nine and Wine Clinic, our second of the season, where we will find out how to send the golf ball with a hook or slice or sink on purpose, at the Covered and Protected TopGolf facility.

DATE: Friday evening the 9th of May 2008 - no matter what the weather is!

TIME: Check-in starts at 6:30 PM, clinic start at 7:00 PM - look for the balloon in TopGolf's cafe - it's just past the check-in desk.

THIS MONTH'S CLINIC TOPIC: "Hook, Slice or Sinker”
Stephen Moskal, TopGolf's Director of Golf, has arranged for us have an exclusive, reserved area, to work with ASGA-DC's finest to figure out why you either hook or slice your golf ball, to help you either hit the ball left or right on purpose or not, or to hit the golf ball in a straight line sinking over the hill.

TO SIGN-UP for THIS EVENT:

As we expect many ASGA-DCers will be trying to remember what their golf swings were last season and socialize at the same time, your Event Coordinator, Mark Hendrickson, must know from each of you by Thursday evening, May 8th that you want to participate.

The price of the clinic, including balls, is $30, which you will pay for at TopGolf the day of the event.
